In Wisconsin we are very lucky to experience four different seasons worth of fun activities! In winter an obvious choice is snow tubing! It’s winter fun that’s fast, easy and doesn’t require any expensive equipment.
Now we’re not talking about a leisurely jaunt down a hill on a sled. We’re talking about tubing in style! This is 100-foot vertical drop, multiple-chute, fabric-covered tubes with a lift to the top of the hill. These are winter facilities that make their own snow, come with a nice chalet, and serve sandwiches, chili and hot pizza. Snow tubing in Wisconsin is an exciting winter activity the entire family will enjoy.Sunburst – Kewaskum, WI. Sunburst is geared to maximum snow tubing fun with 42 1300-foot lanes that rocket you down the 10 story drops at speeds of up to 40mph. The recently completed expansion now makes it the largest tubing park in North America. The hill’s two 540-foot “Magic Carpet” lifts take you and your tube back to the top of the hill in a jiffy. Concessions are available at the Sunburst chalet. Their snow-making capabilities ensure a season of pure winter fun from mid-December through early March. The hill is open Tues-Thurs evenings, and all day Fri, Sat and Sun.

Plus, an extra specially sized “kiddie” snow tubing hill is available for the young ones. The hill is open weekday nights and afternoon and evenings Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. The lodge has hot food and beverages for sale as well as live music on weekends.
